XXIII Meeting of the Spanish Society of Plant Physiology and the XVI Hispano-Portuguese Congress of Plant Physiology
From June 26 to 28 the XXIII Meeting of the Spanish Society of Plant Physiology and the XVI Hispano-Portuguese Congress of Plant Physiology will be held in Pamplona.
The Congress is organized by the Spanish Society of Plant Physiology, a scientific society that tries to explain how vegetal organisms behave, how tissues, cells, genes, vegetal molecules function and how interact with the environment.
The Congress will be divided into 11 sessions that will cover the main areas of Plant Biology (Metabolism & Biochemistry; Applied Physiology & Molecular Breeding; Signaling; Ecophysiology & Climate Change; Interaction of Plants with other Organisms; Photosynthesis, Water Relations & Crop Production; Abiotic Stress; Biofertilizers, Biostimulants and Mineral Nutrition; Systems Biology & Omics; Growth & Development; Plant Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology).
In addition, the Congress will include several sessions aimed at disseminating science to society, especially to young people, and promote technology transfer between the academia and agro-related companies.
The congress will also include sessions with the aim of disseminating science to society and sessions related to technology transfer promotion between academics and the agrifood sector.
The event of high relevance for the agrifood sector, will bring nearly 400 scientists (many of them at the forefront of research) from the Academia and private companies from several countries together in Pamplona to exchange their ideas and create or consolidate pathways for collaboration. Iden Biotechnology supports the conference with the participation of Nora Alonso, Iden Biotechnology’s CEO, as part of the organization committee.
